By Lucas Kongiel, CX, Videographer and Photographer at JPC by Samsic

From the world of hospitality to customer experience management and now to creative production, my career is a story of evolution, adaptability, and has had an underlying theme of passion for people. Today, as JPC by Samsic’s photographer and videographer, I use the lens to shape how the brand is seen, both internally and externally.
My professional path began in the hotel industry, where I developed skills in service, attention to detail, and creating memorable guest experiences. After several years, I transitioned into CX management at JPC by Samsic, where my focus shifted to shaping how people interact with services. Yet, storytelling has remained at the heart of my work.
The hotel industry left a lasting mark on my creative approach. Hospitality taught me to be observant and the ability to anticipate needs before they’re spoken. That translates directly into photography: capturing expressions, gestures, or atmospheres that bring a story to life. In CX, I gained insight into people’s expectations and the emotional connections they form with brands. Understanding that CX focuses on the journey, photography lets me freeze or highlight moments of that journey in ways that resonate more powerfully.
When planning shoots, whether for campaigns or internal comms, it is important to begin with purpose. Question “What do we want this visual to achieve?” From there, preparing: scouting locations, testing lighting, and mapping flow. But always staying flexible to capture unscripted, authentic moments that often become the most impactful. Editing then ties everything together, reinforcing the narrative through pacing, colour, and sound.
When it comes to portraying JPC by Samsic, I can highlight two key elements: people and professionalism. I highlight our teams in action, the scale of the environments we work in, and the personal touches that set us apart. I want every image to feel intentional, polished, and reflective of the premium service we provide.
I encourage those considering a creative pivot to embrace persistence and self-belief. Experiment in your free time, build a portfolio, and refine your skills constantly. Your previous career gives you transferable strengths, mine taught me observation and empathy. Don’t see your past as unrelated; it’s part of what makes your creative voice unique.
Ultimately my work aims to show that JPC is more than a cleaning company, it’s about people, quality, and care. I want people to see the pride our teams take in their work, the environments we enhance, and the values we uphold. I hope viewers feel both trust and inspiration when they see JPC through my lens.
